Save the dates! Preparations for posAbilities’ 11th Annual INCLUSION Art Show and Sale are in full swing and we invite you to join us on October 28 from 5-8pm and October 29 from 11am-8pm at Heritage Hall in Vancouver. This event is open to the public and admission is by donation.
At INCLUSION, you will see the recent creations of more than 150 artists who are working independently or in studios supported by Community Living agencies across Metro Vancouver. The annual exhibition features original pieces produced in various media: painting, collage, illustration, photography, pottery, art cards, jewelry, glassware and textiles. Every piece tells a story!

Calling For Artists
Are you a budding artist or know a talented one? Please join us in spreading the word that we are looking for new artists to register for the show! It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase and sell work to art enthusiasts and the general public. We encourage artists of all ages to register – as an independent or through the agencies they are supported by. We are pleased to be joined by several returning artists and studios this year, and are thrilled to welcome new faces such as Semiahmoo House Society!
New Bios to Foster Increased Connection! While the official registration process will begin in September, we are requesting new biographies and photos from all artists. The greater community is eager to learn more about the artists behind the work and discover their unique perspectives, creative processes and how individual challenges can be transcended through art. Sip and Paint for Inclusion – August 19
We also welcome you to join us at our upcoming fundraiser – “Sip and Paint for Inclusion” – on August 19th from 6-9pm at Braid Street Studios in New West.
Here’s your chance to unleash your inner Picasso while supporting a great cause! While you’re sipping on some refreshments, a professional instructor from Braid Street Studios will guide you through a painting theme which you will then turn into your own unique masterpiece.
Tickets are $50.00 each and we provide everything you’ll need: refreshments, appies, canvas, art supplies and professional instruction. Absolutely no painting experience is required – just bring your friends and creativity! This event is hosted by posAbilities and PotteryWorks, and all proceeds will go towards our INCLUSION Art Show.
