posAbilities recently relocated a community inclusion program to the heart of Maple Ridge, and hosted a “getting to know the neighbours” celebration that focused on the theme of community development and contribution.

Staff and persons served paraded into Memorial Peace Park in Maple Ridge with their matching lime green t-shirts to the tune of “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang. But the highlight of the day was when they performed their “Happy” flash mob dance!

One person served in particular, Marc, was absolutely thrilled to perform as he has such fond memories of dancing in our “Employment Style” video – a “Gangnam Style” parody about employing people with developmental disabilities.  He couldn’t wait to show off his dance moves once again and was especially proud to share this experience and accomplishment with his family.
