posAbilities is a not-for-profit association headquartered in Burnaby that offers community living support services to individuals across British Columbia. We assist persons with disabilities to lead meaningful and healthy lives by working with families and community partners.

We are committed to building and participating in a community where all persons are welcomed, and where all members are valued for who they are and for the contributions they make. This is the vision of an inclusive community—a place characterized by diversity, hospitality, belonging and respect.

  • Approximately 600 staff serving more than 1,200 children and adults
  • Provides five main streams of service: Behaviour Consultation, Community Inclusion, Employment, Explore and Home Living
  • Areas served: Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, and the Sunshine Coast
  • Flagship event is the Inclusion Art Show, BC’s largest disability art show, which takes place each October at Vancouver’s Heritage Hall
