It’s Community Living Month in BC, and posAbilities is pleased to present our 11th annual INCLUSION Art Show & Sale featuring the recent and original work of more than 150 BC artists with disabilities on October 28-29, 2015 at Heritage Hall in Vancouver.

Over 500 pieces of art will be on exhibition and for sale from several participating studios including: Alternative Creations Studio, artists at large (posAbilities), PotteryWorks (Community Living Society), Developmental Disabilities Association, Avenues (Richmond Society for Community Living), Bridge Art Studio (Langley Association for Community Living), Vicuna Studio (Ridge Meadows Association for Community Living), Semiahmoo House Society, as well as several independent artists.

This show brings together artists of all capabilities whose work inspires community and has the potential to dismantle barriers and perceptions of ability. Many of the artists have curated their own collections and will be present at the show. This year we are pleased to feature several returning artists, some of whom have been participating since our first year, as well as brand new ones!

Meet some of the artists and discover how their creations manifest the lived experience of disability.  To learn more about their stories and work, please visit our website.
