There are all kinds of free inclusive events to enjoy with those you love involving sports, arts, and culture. Here are some exciting Family Day activities happening near you!
1. “Family Day” at the Boundary Museum
Date: February 18, 2024

Location: Boundary Museum & Archives, 6145 Reservoir Road, Grand Forks
The Boundary Museum is hosting a free Family Day event with exciting multicultural presentations, rides for kids, and sensor activities from the Boundary Autism Society. Lunch and hot chocolate are on the house!
2. Discovering Ditches – Richmond’s Playground
Date: February 19, 2024

Location: Richmond Museum, 7660 Minoru Gate, Richmond
Embark on a nostalgic journey into the world of being a child through Richmond Museum’s current exhibit, Richmond Kids. Visitors can get hands-on with interactive exhibits, Richmond-based game of chutes and ladders, and build imaginative structures with tiles and blocks. 8. Thunderbird CC BC Family Day Movie Event

Come visit the Thunderbird Community Centre on Family day for the “under the sea” themed event! Unleash your creativity by joining in on the different activities involving crafts, caricature drawing, and face painting. 9. Family Day at the Museum and Week-long Scavenger Hunt

Drop by the Museum of Surrey for some Family Day fun! Play board games, join a week-long scavenger hunt, and take a photo with their mascot Raj the Racoon. Admire the caricatures by Corycature over a sweet cup of hot chocolate with family and friends.
10. Family Day at the Burnaby Village Museum

Celebrate South Asian culture this Family Day through music, dance and art. Visitors of all ages can participate in an engaging, interactive dance workshop led by award-winning Bollywood dancer Karima Essa. Learn some Bollywood history, enjoy the music and add your own moves to the experience. Spend this time with your family by joining the collaborative process of creating a community mural, featuring the artwork of South Asian artist Jag Nagra.
