We’re excited to share that the Social Media Fellowship is hitting the airwaves! Our quirky and heartwarming podcast, What’s in the Hat?, now airs on CiTR 101.9 FM every second Thursday of the month at 1 PM.
This show brings you a delightful mix of game-show fun and talk-show charm, all hosted by people with developmental disabilities. Tune in as we explore life’s big questions and everyday joys, from love and friendship to music and spirituality. Expect lively conversations, plenty of laughs, and heartwarming moments.
We are thrilled to be collaborating with UBC through this opportunity, where our fellows have loved learning the ropes of professional radio production while sharing their voices on such a dynamic platform.
In our debut episode, “Music,” Hannah and Matthew catch up with fellow Rosh (a.k.a. DJ R-Hood) about her first-ever DJ set and her juggling act as a vlogger, poet, chef, and more. Expect a freestyle performance, some surprising insights, and the story behind her cheeky would-be drag queen name! Stream the episode here:

I really enjoyed this episode focussed on music! I did not know that Hannah Nolan is also a Fleetwood Mac fan – or the DJ R Hood could come up with rap on the spot – or how Jenna on the Spot’s questions could be so spot Matthew’s love of the Beatles shows through too! Great job. everyone!
